Den Time is an opportunity for learners to read and grow in a fun, collaborative environment. Readers alternate days between the library and the collaboratory. Work in the collaboratory involves a computer program called Lexia. This program is designed to help readers build
reading skills such as phonics and vocabulary. Learners are provided with adult support as
needed, based on observation and reports from Lexia. Work in the library involves reading and talking about books with partners--including athletes from CMU! We are very fortunate to have them partner with readers during this time. It is a wonderful way to start the day together!
